Recommended Posts

Not trying to be party pooper but hoping to pass on important information so that everyone can protect themselves:

HPV is one of the most common STDs, see here: http://www.ashasexualhealth.org/stdsstis/hpv/fast-facts/

The vaccine is now approved for individuals 27 to 45 years old in the USA. Prior to this approval, it was recommended simply to adolescent girls and the vaccine was a key factor in preventing cancers related to HPV. See below.

Excerpt:

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today approved a supplemental application for Gardasil 9 (Human Papillomavirus (HPV) 9-valent Vaccine, Recombinant) expanding the approved use of the vaccine to include women and men aged 27 through 45 years. Gardasil 9 prevents certain cancers and diseases caused by the nine HPV types covered by the vaccine.
