Recommended Vaccination clinic Bangkok for Hep A and B

Recommended Posts

Hi can anyone recommend a private vaccination clinic in Bangkok ?.

I need to have my Hep A booster within 6 to 12 months of the original injection so its due in November and ideally I would like to have my 4th Hep B injection so I am covered long term against both.

There is a nationwide shortage of both Hep A and B in the UK (from browsing the internet looks like its a global shortage) and I am struggling to find anywhere I can do this in the UK and as I am in Bangkok in November I wanted to see is that a solution for me to book an appointment in advance.

Appreciate any advice anybody has.

Thanks

I did find this, but don't know if it is exactly what you are looking for. Upper right corner is a "send us inquiry" link for email. I am

guessing you will have to show them certs from the UK Docs to prove that you have had the other vaccinations in the series.

Hi,

I have been to this place before:

Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute (http://www.saovabha.com/en/clinictravel.asp)
1871 Rama 4 Road, Pathumwan Bangkok 10330

Tel. 02-252-0161-4, 02-252-0167
Fax. 02-254-0212
Website : www.saovabha.com
E-mail : info@saovabha.com

Had Hep A and B vaccinations there (can't remember exact prices as it was a few years ago).

For Hep B you need a total of 3 shots to get you covered for 10 years if I remember well (have to find my yellow book for exact data LOL).

But it should be cheaper as Bumrungrad (you don't pay a docters fee, just a small registration fee and the costs of the vaccines)

You will get a Free International Certificate of Vaccination (yellow book) too.

It's near the intersection of Rama IV and Rajadamri Rd (same complex as the snake farm); between BTS Rajadamri and BTS Sala Daeng.

More info here: http://www.saovabha.com/en/contactus.asp (includes a map) and http://www.saovabha.com/en/clinictravel.asp?nTopic=4 ( List of Vaccines Provided)

Cheers

T
