rwhite 0 #1 Posted April 3, 2012 I'll be checking into the Kingston Suites this weekend and staying there for almost a month. It's part of a package deal I got with a training center I'm taking some courses with. The location is not horrible with regards to distance from the NANA area and Soi Cowboy. Anyone ever stayed here? Hotel web site shows some nice rooms but you know how that goes sometimes (what you see is not always what you get). Anyway, thanks in advance. website: http://www.kingstonbangkok.com/ RW
Terry Tibbs 52 #2 Posted April 3, 2012 I have stayed there once and will be checking in there again in a few weeks time. The rooms are massive, clean and very nicely appointed. You could certainly do a hell of a lot worse
crossmyloof 1 #4 Posted April 17, 2012 How far is the hotel from well-known entertainment spots? Emporium is a lifestyle center and offers much by way of entertainment. Alternatives are the clubs (Q-Bar and Bed Supperclub are favourites), Manchester United Restaurant & Bar, pubs and eateries located on Sukhumvit Soi11 Haven't they heard of Nana? rwhite 0 #5 Posted April 17, 2012 How far is the hotel from well-known entertainment spots? The hotel offers a free tuk-tuk service to and from Nana BTS station so it's very close. If you walk it's only about 10 minutes. It takes less time to get to Soi Cowboy. The hotel is LB friendly. If you have a friend visit the guard will escort her up to your room to be sure your were expecting her. When she leaves they call to make sure all is okay. The rooms are very nice but the internet sucks from time to time. The breakfast rocks (American, British and Asian). All you can eat buffet. RW
