CJ-BLF 389 #3 Posted April 11 The best Swampy advice is not to arrive at midnight for the EU rush hours. The lines can be horrible. After lunch is much calmer.

I have always assumed that was true, but I arrived at noon last January and had a 50 minute wait in the immigration line. Edited April 11 by Bwana_LB
Denbosch1971 9,053 #5 Posted April 11 (edited) There simply isn't on general rule of thumb. I always arrive between 9.30 and 10 30 am. Queue time before immigrations varied from absolutely none to >90 minutes Too much dependencies to predict! Edited April 11 by Denbosch1971
NaamBlaa 9 #6 Posted April 15 My arrival and transit through immigration a couple of weeks ago on a Friday early afternoon went smoothly. Getting out on a Saturday morning two weeks later not so smoothly. Security wasn't too bad but the line for immigration exit was backed up to security. At one point security personnel stopped allowing passengers through to give the immigration line time to recede. I've been to LoS more times than I can count and this was by far my worst exit experience.
