shaved_penis79 35 #1 Posted February 3 Hello there I want to book my Hotel in the next days and I found 2 that have a good location, City Lodge and Maxim's Inn. Does anyone know them? Is the location noisy? Thanks
Wagonner 77 #2 Posted February 3 I stayed at Maxim’s Inn, December before last, in the superior room - one with a window, pictures below. It’s right at the end of Soi 7/1 so little or no traffic noise. It is however across the road and two buildings up from the Green Room which has live bands playing in the evening up until as late as 2am. From a noise point of view it felt like the band was playing in the room with me. So not recommended if you are looking for a quiet evening. 2 kifd and shaved_penis79 reacted to this
taaseesanuk 5,467 #3 Posted February 3 They have always struck me as being a bit on the economy end of the scale. That said, providing they are clean then the location is good.
pdbkk 303 #4 Posted February 3 I've stayed at City Lodge before, which was fine. Had a few nice STs in there. Good price, great location. My room wasn't noisy (apart from when my guests were visiting). I have a couple of days booked there again soon, happy to revisit again after my last experience. 2 1 gottalove, Ross77 and shaved_penis79 reacted to this

xcom 102 #7 Posted September 25 City lodge bangkok.. just an update to this I wouldn't recommend this place ever again. The doors don't lock properly and someone else I saw in reception had the same problem. Serious security issues, I had someone accidentally (a guest)walk into my room twice. So I left the hotel and went somewhere else but still had the room as an emergency bolt hole. Well I returned two weeks later for my last 6 hours before a flight and someone used the room for a shit and a shower. I barricaded the door for safety before I laid on the bed for a couple of hours. Depressing, unsecure and creepy. That's the Bangkok city lodge

I am quite sure none of the BMs here will consider it anymore Hope the rest of your trip made up for this 'inconvenience' 1 xcom reacted to this
ForWhat 969 #9 Posted September 26 Scrimping on hotels just isn’t worth it. You can stay at Hopeland on soi 8 for around 1500-1800b a night, which is really good value.

Had a hotel booked for 64k for 19 nights, which is very acceptable already (with free cancellation option). Two weeks before departure is saw Hopeland lowered from 60k to 31k for 19 nights! Saving 33k THB in 5 minutes was simply too hard to resist 1 ForWhat reacted to this
