If you are a monger, planning to take a LB back to your hotel, then it is best to avoid booking into this one:

- this place sounds like a barrel of laughs!

Even if you're not planning on taking a lady back there, but are "undomesticated" its best to give it a swerve!

Apparently this hotel, featured in some TV show, in some country, which became a hit, and the hotel still receives many tourists from that country. It is like an Art Deco hotel, think Black and White checkered floor in reception and funky, old school art throughout.

Soi 2 is an awesome base with a good range of hotels to choose from but this one i'll not be visiting

I went there for breakfast on an early visit. Dressed smart and took a guide book to look like a tourist - not a sex tourist (although staying at Majestic Grande and just farewells a LT NEP lb). Was given a grilling by the mamasan before allowed in. Interesting place. Great breakfast. The swimming pool was originally a snake pit where the German founder collected venom.

They must be the guys that use the toilet before the photographer takes shots for Booking.com etc.. It seems to be a bit of a Thai thing to leave the seat up ready for the shot!

That is kind of a good service to protect their guests. I wonder how many unsuspecting guys woke up from the drunken stupor when they were handed this in reception.

Now we know which hotel not to book. Apparently, a very pious owner (??), and he/she has every right to do so. Instead, it's a shelter for many dogs and cats. That alone is reason enough not to stay there, even though I do love pussy too

This is real:

OMNI Towers has a big Arab clientele. The problem is therefore not the security handing you over this piece of paper, but passing in front of the Arab families. I was in OMNI Towers only once (in 2008), but I definitely did not like it.
