What’s the experience here? Is it next to the meet mart? What’s the rate going in the bar? 
 

The next question is that get some from Chaos to a hotel. Any good hotels around? I don’t mean Marriot or the residences the Middle East families stay.

I've stayed here before maybe 18 months ago. Decent price for the location, rooms are fine for bringing guests back, it's often used as ST location, so very much guest friendly. Decent enough pool on the roof. I spent some time during the days on a lounger by to pool working from my laptop, much nicer than working from my room.

You'll find a selection of LBs directly out front in the evening looking for business, and there is the famous Thermae Bar directly below if you want some GG action. LBs are not allowed in the bar, hence they tend to gather out front. Very close to CiB 10 too, and a relatively short walk past the throngs of "Wassup bro, want some stuff?" guys to the rest of our bars.

And of course loads more choice in both directions along Sukhumvit.

I have one night in BKK and was thinking about it. As wanted to look at The Thermae bar as never been there. 
How does the system work in Thermae? I’m not a young and handsome looking Korean or Japanese guy.

I never went to Thermae, but from what I've read the girls inside aren't allowed to approach you, so it's low pressure. Walk around, see who you like, have a chat and see if things feel good, and if so take her upstairs to your room.

It's been a very long time since I visited. The place was totally crowded with many, many girls (all GGs, since ladyboys weren't allowed in (they're outside on the sidewalk) 

It was that crowded that customers could only walk one after each other in a circle, passing all the girls. Nearly impossible to stop for a chat. This, combined with average quality of the girls and ridiculous prices they asked for, explains why it has been a very long time ago

I'm inclined to agree with the verdict.

the concept and the length of time it has been running is unlike anything I have ever heard of before anywhere else in the world.

I have been a couple of times for novelty value and to see what the "talent" is like.

once I thought through the concept of the place and realised they are just "ordinary, normal" Thai girls looking to make a bit of extra money on the side, I lowered my expectations on terrific sex or "value for money".  it's a lottery.

bloody dangerous for the girls too ... nobody knows they are there.  they keep that side of their lives hidden from family and friends.  thermae knows absolutely nothing about them and has no duty of care.  it's all very hidden away.  genuine, dangerous predators would be a very real threat.  not to mention the everyday, unhinged, drunk or drugged lunatic.

Long ago Thermae was not a bad option in the hours after the bars had closed. You'd sometimes see a stream of girls from the bars arriving then, looking for a first or last hookup of the night. But the bar girls have all turned to various apps and social media for those out-of-bar hookups, so the talent level at Thermae is not great. Older GGs. MINLF (Mothers I'd Not Love to Fuck).
