No email notifications

Perhaps I’ve missed something obvious but I’m not getting any emails from this forum such as notifications or daily digest emails for threads I’m following.

The settings in my account look ok and are similar to other forums where I use the same functionality.

Is this not enabled on the bkklb forum or does it only work for users after a certain number of posts? Ta

Answering my own question here… seems like a problem between the site and gmail (or at least some gmail accounts).

I updated the email on my account here to a brand new yahoo email address and the notifications started flowing in. Now I can’t change it back to a gmail address though as the activation-email you need for that doesn’t come through either of course. It’s not caught in the spam folder, the messages get lost somewhere before Google deposits them in the mailbox  Problem with the smtp sender reputation of bangkokladyboys.net?

I use gmail. I haven't had email notifications for years. I can only log on by clicking on old PM email links.

I’ve tried several times to join the Pattaya forum with different Gmail accounts and have never received a confirmation email. Even reached out to a moderator but still nothing …

Have you tried using something other than Gmail?
I've had the same problem with my Gmail accounts but it worked when I used a Yahoo email

What a load of rubbish. 

I have answered you three times before on two other topics on here when you asked. You were asked for some more info to help you out but you have not provided it. Happy to help out but you keep ignoring the posts so please don't complain you have had no help offered when you have been asked 3 times already and you continually ignore said posts.

This forum, built on ancient technology, so it’s no wonder it barely functions or, in some cases, doesn’t function at all.

Maybe so but it’s free and I don’t imagine the mods make a baht giving up their time to give us a space to share our ‘unique’ interests!

You do have a choice you know. No one is forcing you to use the forum.
