Hotels in Soi Sukhumvit 11 that allow guests.

Recommended Posts

Hi, i am a new user just created account but have been living this life for some time in bahrain (i found it quite good there tbh).
Hoping to find some advice on certain aspects of BKK.
I recently stayed in murcure and solitaire hotel, i am wondering if anyone knows if they are friendly to visitors to the rooms?

I will be back again in october and have a pass for a couple of days of free time. I would like to try some encounters with multiple participants and am not sure on any hotel policy around it and dont want to be caught out.

I generally prefer the nicer hotels, last time i stayed in mercure it was nice to have the club style room and lounge. But ofcourse it may be a better option to have another room for crazh activities?

Welcome!

I  think it's almost better to ask if anyone's heard of any hotels that are NOT guest-friendly. Over the past 10 years, I've stayed at high-end, middle-tier, and low-end hotels, and have never had anyone bat an eye when bringing a guest to the room.

Thanks for the welcome, and apologies for my question it may have sounded rediculous to the more experienced visitors.

I just didn't want an awkward situation when I get stopped walking to my room by security with a number of guests :handplant:

Again thanks for answering my question.

Will be over in October to tick a few things off my extensive list.

There is no joiner fee at the Mercure and you have the option to bring your guest to the desk and they will check, copy, or keep (I can't remember which) your visitors ID. You might want to do this for security reasons with a freelancer you just met.

I only took girls from the well known bars so I never bothered with reception as there are some basic assurances you have from those girls. We just went straight up to my room.  The hotel staff by the main entrance were always polite and professional to my guests and I.  I'm not sure if there is a rule on how many guests you can have at one time...the most I had was two.

Mercure is the only hotel I have stayed at in that area...I can't speak about other options.

Enjoy!

Great information thanks Canada Visitor,

I have only stayed at Solitaire and Murcure around that area, but I think Murcure is quite good so will book back there again when I go in a couple of months and have some reports of shenanigans to divulge here.

Look forward to reading them.

I just read your comments on the Cindy thread...if you are planning on bringing more than a couple of girls back to your room and are worried the Mercure might have a limit on how many guests you can have at once, I would phone or email them directly and ask.

Yeah I guess a quick phone call or email won't hurt and give me some peace of mind. My experience of this way of life is limited to UK and Bahrain.

Bahrain was so very loose on rules for guests in rooms (in fact it was quite wild) and in UK I do incalls only.

For 4*, good location and nice rooms take a look at Landmark and compare prices.  I agree if you can skip the hotel breakfast do so and if your up for breakfast/brunch there are many better options in the area, too many to list.

Landmark is getting old but it's still clean and nice.  There's some construction on-going now in the front restaurant and the ground floor.  Noise probably not a problem on an upper floor.

If you are mobility impaired Landmark might be problematic as the entry in one floor up a set of steps.

Many options, I'm currently staying at Ramada, soi 11, no problem at all, same as with the Hotel Eleven, also soi 11, stone throw away from Cindys.

Nobody cares really who you bring

Both excellent hotels

I took this advice and stayed there. Honestly wouldn’t have chosen it if I hadn’t seen CVs review. Great place. No hassle. Close to the action with a bit of a long walk of shame from nana. Think this is my new go to lb mongering hotel.

No questions. No ID checks. Staff really couldn’t have been either nicer or given less of a fuck what you get up to.

You mentioned the Solitaire. They have excellent beds for 3-somes. Below is Hannah, who is one fun ladyboy. She stands about 5"10. The last pic is Joy from CIB, another fun ladyboy who is around 5'8". I photographed them from the side of the bed. It gives you an indication of how large their beds are. They're the same length as king size, but their width is larger than king size. I had had a couple of 3-somes in these beds, and they can easily sleep 4 people. The Solitaire isn't bad at all, with the only real negative their shitty restaurant, but that doesn't matter because Soi 11 has many good eateries right around the corner. Good luck.

More hotel reviews should be like this!!!! :hubbahubba:

Maybe use other parts of their bodies for sizing up items also!

Hannah looks quite lovely

Thanks for the info Oliver.

My preferred in soi 11 is ambassador due to the very relaxed joiner policy (take 2 or 3 lbs with no issue as you don't pass reception) and the outsanding fitness facility for the price point.

Even if reception stops you, it'll only be to scan their ID for security purposes (actual joiner policy is 1 guest with no surcharge if the room is booked for 2 people)

2000b per night gets you the superior. Don't stay in cheaper rooms (standard), they're quite outdated.

Location wise: it's a few meters away from cindys/mercure

Took 3 girls with me last week to my room nobody asked any question
I am a regular in Mercure 11 stay there on average 50 nights a year. But I think they really don't care as long as you do not disturb other guests

That's quite a good price, is that direct with hotel? Booking has it at a bit more. Superior rooms look OK quite decent size.

I do really plan on at least three one night for ticking off that and other stuff can only do with that many at once

Thanks for the info Alvin.

Thanks for the info, ambassador looks a decent place and is quite reasonably priced.

Hopefully I won't get any issue bringing 3-5 to the room if I stay in that area :o got things to tick off my list!

Wow 3-5? Goodluck, I'm sure it'll be a good night out haha

Isn't it funny when it comes to budgeting? I don't like spending over a certain amount for accomodation a night, yet, happy to spend a larger amount on punting hahah

Priorities of life

Yes i will be strict on food and hotel budgets. But then blow a fortune on drink and entertainment :handplant:

But at least im making an effort to budget haha!

I guess the price is quite different from UK being 1 hour is £150-250 though, so money saved by being strong and waiting longer is worth more money in the pot for BKK

Concur what others have said about Solitaire . Huge beds . The hotel is quiet ( just off the busy part of soi 11 and corridors have carpet ). No issue with joiners . Staff friendly . Short walk from few bars , many restaurants , disco , …

I like the Solitaire.  Very well trained staff. The hotel is quietly located on the edge of an entertainment district. The rooms with Sky Lounge access offer additional amenities, including a personal check-in service away from the hustle and bustle. After a comment that it is musty in a room, I was offered another room without any problems. Breakfast is also sufficient for European guests, egg dishes and sandwiches are freshly prepared. Overall, a pleasant and relaxed stay. With my guests no problems and really friendly at all. I’ll book it for my next stay again.

You should know that there is a complementary motorcycle tuk tuk to Nana BTS or to terminal 21 if you wish to use it. I used it a few times, especially if you want to go to the MRT at Asoke.

Any vets have thoughts? Do the higher end hotels around the lumpini//wireless rd embassy row areas typically have any issues with LB guests? I’ve never had a problem in the mid range spots I usually frequent, but have some hotel points to burn next trip and considering a few nights in the area…Intercontinental was one option…seems like a convenient location with BTS Chit Lom at the doorstep…always book for 2 people of course, regardless of hotel.

Do the higher end spots have a more restrictive attitude generally? Or is it the opposite possibly? Or the good old…same same but different

I’m not suggesting that I have any fucks to give what the night (or morning :Bonkers:)  desk clerk or doorman actually thinks, far from it. Just curious on the reaction to expect
