Best Hotel with Balcony & Pool Bar

Recommended Posts

Just booked return trip in 3 and a half years for late September

Looking for recommendations.

price is no issue

used to stay predominantly Fraser Suites Soi 11 and can do again however

Must have -

room balcony

pool bar (Fraser Suites don’t have)

close ish  to the LB lounge bars and NP preferred

obviously LB Guest Friendly

Any recommendations appreciated from those who have been on ground in last year so I know it’s still open

cheers W

Hi @Warney, Novotel Sukhumvit Soi 4 has a pool bar. It's a 2 min walk to Why Not and about 5 min to NEP. So location is pretty perfect.

I visited them in April, didn't have a balcony though. And to be honest, don't think they have rooms with balcony (based on attached pic) from their site.

Actually ended up at Key Premier Soi 7 first 3 nights already done in bkk now in Hua Hin.

key Premier was actually pretty good and quiet - ok for me

LB guest no problem- good pool and has bar - no balcony, oh well

return to bkk next week will stay Mecure on 11

Key Premier would recommend but not if you like busy busy more .

I used to enjoy @Mind although last visit it had become more corporate and packed with Chinese coach tours.  The pool is small but little used and fun for two.....

Citrus Suites has a readonable rooftop area with pool. I stayed there shortly after opening and it had potential for bar and nightime dining etc. Not sure if covid stopped that. Can't remember if any of the rooms had balconies.

I just had a look on google maps street view and noticed a change in the name.

Not sure I’d call it a pool as it was more like a bath last time I stayed there.

Decent enough rooms and good location

All rooms have a balcony? or is it just the expensive ones?

Never saw any with a balcony. I was merely pointing out how small the pool was

Actually, Galleria 10 does have balconies on lower floors. Below pic is from a few years ago. We were on the 2nd floor (1st floor UK) as I recall.

Galleria 10 is a perfectly good hotel with good proximity to CIB, but there are better hotel options in that area. For instance, Adelphi Suites on Soi 8 is also a 5 minute walk from CIB and there are several restaurants, laundries and legit massage places within a stones throw. On Soi 13 is  Radisson / In Residence, which has balconies and a large, fine pool on the roof. It's a 7 or 8 minute stroll from CIB.
