  1. Let me know...no f'king way I am spending 2,000+ to see a movie (although if the wine was good, and it was a 3 hour movie....maybe)
  2. Never had any problem taking a LB to a movie, and I do it weekly. But Paragon is yesterday's news. http://www.bangkokpost.com/learning/learning-from-news/414366/900-baht-luxury-movie-theatre

    Spanish food mbk

Soi 11 is/was the best, I haven't been there in awhile, but it was always good. Paella on weekends. The Eight on Thong Lor has a Spanish place, never been
  4. I haven't taken one there yet, but can't imagine having a problem. The buffet there is very nice, eaten there a few a times.

Probably BKK , but watch out for counterfeits. Get at power buy or a big camera store. PS they are so cheap now, it really shouldn't matter

    Compact camera's

Fatcat had mentioned to me that he wanted cameras with built in WiFi, thats why I recommended the two models above, if you don't want WiFi there are a lot of less expensive alternatives

    Compact camera's

I'm using a Sony RX-100, a higher end (and much more expensive) camera than what Fatcat needs. Casio, Olympus, Samsung all make 'blah' cameras IMHO For compact cameras I like Sony, Panasonic, Canon, Fuji....roughly in that order (Never used 'small' Nikon)

    Compact camera's

The Samsung WB250F and the Sony DSC-WX300 looks interesting. both Just came out a few months ago, and have wifi and good reviews. In my experience Sony makes better cameras than Samsung, but it is 2000 Baht more (10,000 vs 8000) You can walk over to Emporium and see if they have the cameras at Powerbuy and the Sony shop.
  9. Places on soi 7 are probably closest match, don't know if they are open all day like Kiss

    Air Ticket Searches and Stuff

The two I use are the http://matrix.itasoftware.com/ you mentioned, and kayak.com
  11. random ideas Take skytrain to saphan taksin, then get on the 'tourist' boat and see the Chao praya. You get a ticket good all day and you can go visit the royal palace, Wat Po, Wat Arun, etc.. Shop at MBK Shop at Panthip and Platinum Mall have dinner at Terminal 21, then go to Soi Cowboy. Check out Cockatoo for LB, Bacaret for the girls and Lone Gun for the 'shows' day trip to ayuthaya

    secure https forum?

You are better off getting a VPN, also choose a browser and ONLY use that for this site (like chrome) and set it to not record history, cookies, etc.. If you want to be uber paranoid, setup/rent a windows virtual machine somewhere (or linux, which is cheaper), then connect to that via remote desktop and do the actual browsing on the remote machine. If you use https someone monitoring your traffic will see the urls you hit, they just won't see the page content. Since the page is bangkokladyboy that's probably damning enough. using a proxy would probably have the same problem (depends exactly how the proxy is used)

    Bourbon Street

Sukhemvit 22 is old location and closed, now on Ekkami. Check the link you posted. New location should be quiet, but its not near anything "touristy".
  14. Crab Wings, Curry Crab, Crab Fried Rice....hmm is their a pattern here...stewed pork, pad thai, som tum and of course a nice Durian for desert
