I once again had the pleasure of spending a few days at the Solitaire Hotel Bangkok and can absolutely recommend it. The hotel is in an excellent location: a little away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, but very central, so you can quickly reach all the important sights and hotspots of the city. The proximity to the trendy LB bars is perfect.
The excellent service in the Club Lounge with private check-in on the 16th floor deserves special mention. The staff are extremely attentive, friendly and professional, making you feel completely at ease.
The selection of food and drinks in the lounge was good, although the choice is limited. Here you can relax in a relaxed atmosphere or simply enjoy the view of the city. The rooms are basically okay and comfortably furnished, equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The entire hotel is well-kept and clean.
Overall, the Solitaire Hotel offers great value for money and is the perfect choice for travelers looking for a central location and peace and quiet.looking forward to my next stay! The staff in the reception area of the hotel should be more attentive. A luggage service would also be appropriate.
The hotel is absolutely LB friendly, I never had a problem with my LB friends.

I dont know of any these days, but my hotel in Patts had one on reception. I tentively asked if she was and she said no with a smile. I told her I need to find out, so we went out that night.
Of course she was!. My radar never lets me down.

The restaurant offers authentic Korean cuisine at affordable prices and attracts both locals and expats. Guests can grill their own meat at the table or have it prepared by the chefs. Particularly noteworthy are the diverse and unlimited refillable side dishes. A culinary experience!

Horsamut Bangkok - A must for lovers of Thai cuisine! The restaurant combines traditional recipes with high-quality, sustainably sourced ingredients and focuses on fine dining. A highlight is the stylish atmosphere with a view of Wat Arun, perfect for a relaxed dinner with a special flair. In addition to the elevators: you cannot take the two main elevators to the 22nd floor, Pastell Rooftop Bar. There is no information that you have to switch to the side elevator.

Aira Hotel Bangkok - Solid choice with light and shade. My stay at the Aira Hotel Bangkok was pleasant overall, although there were a few points that could be better. The hotel is very centrally located, which is perfect for exploring the city. A short walk to the trendy LB bars only-it is ideal.
At first glance, the furnishings appear high-quality, modern and appealing, even if the public areas seem cramped - which is not unusual in a city hotel.
My room, a Jacuzzi corner room on the 17th floor, was surprisingly spacious and offered a great view over the city. The facilities were well thought out, with a Jacuzzi and a large bathroom. However, the cleanliness could have been a little more thorough, especially in the details. The beds were large and comfortable, but the towels were not always of the best quality - sometimes soft and comfortable, sometimes rather worn, washed out and gray.
Another negative point was the room climate: the air in the room was quite humid and sometimes smelled a little musty, which detracted from the feel-good factor. Overall, the hotel made a clean impression, even in the public areas, although there was still room for improvement.
I found the check-in to be positive, which was handled for my room category on the quieter second floor - pleasantly away from the hustle and bustle of the lobby. However, you shouldn't expect personal service here, as the hotel is more geared towards efficiency.
One point that bothered me was the elevator situation. I had to wait a long time, especially during peak times, for example at breakfast, which was extremely annoying. The organization seemed chaotic, the quality and taste of the food was rather below average, and the breakfast room was far too small for the many guests and therefore very cramped.
Booking the lounge was also not really advantageous and hardly any added value.
The rooftop bar was a real highlight for me. Although the prices are somewhat higher, as is usual in such bars, the quality of the food and drinks was really good and the selection was impressive. Positiv is the smal smoking area in this bar. The spectacular view of the Bangkok skyline is a highlight.
The hotel is also guest friendly, I never had a problem with my LB friends.

Stayed here a few times in 2024 and as others have said the rooftop bar is great. I also liked the gym which is well equiped and large, it's located on the same level as the pool with is also good.
Agree with Transpo -  the elevators are about as slow as I've ever experienced in a hotel, there is however a third elevator around the other side near concierge as you enter the lobby.
Breakfast is fairly average. Location is good being halfway down Soi 11, a short walk to the BTS.
