Try Trip.com. When I compared the rates given on the hotel that I eventually booked, Trip.com quoted me lower prices than Booking.com. It might not be the case for you but it was what I noticed. I hope this will help you.

That sounds like a great idea. I've never been to any of the "party nights" at these lounges. What is the ideal time to go? I don't want to be there too early but I also don't want to miss out on any of the interesting things that go on unless all of that usually starts later on anyways.

It's been a while since anyone posted on here. Maybe this has been asked in other threads but I'll post here ince the title makes sense. What do you guys do for data in Bangkok these days? I think things may have changed a lot since my last visit two years ago. Back then I think I bought a SIM card from the home and inserted it just before departing the plane upon arrival. In the past, I've also bought a SIM card upon arrival at the Bangkok airport.

My experience is similar to @lbshagger's. It was also many years ago. I brought up GG and LB and had no problems. Only that it was looking at so I don't remember if we ever entered by the main lobby because depending on the location of your room, there is a separate set of elevators way over to another somewhat discreet/less busy area. If I recall correctly, they have the Japanese toilets.

Thanks for the response. Now I need to narrow down my hotel options and set aside some time to spend with some TFs that I've been messaging with for a long time now. Three I've met before but two more that I haven't. I don't think I'll have enough time for all of them because I do want to check out the Triple Crown bars too.

If I book a room for one, would that be a problem if I bring back a guest to stay overnight? Or would you recommend that I book for two?

Thanks. Similarly for me as well in that I never use the facilities like the gym, pool and bar. So just need a decent room and shower. Mirrors might be a nice addition.

What is with the wild colour rooms in the lyf Sukhumvit 8?

This is an old thread but the details matched my interests well so I thought it would be ok to carry on from it. I can start a new thread instead if that's more appropriate. Regarding Citadines, is there much difference between the one on Soi 8 vs 11? They both appear to be about the same distance from Nana BTS.

What's the latest on On 8 these days? Looks like a great location and price.

Just wondering what you thought about your stays at the Grand Business Inn and Galleria on Suk 10. I'm considering these too if I can make it out there soon.

I am not sure if it is that close to Asoke Station. Sukhumvit 14 is closer to Asoke. I want to book very soon. I am leaning toward Majestic Grand, Icon or Centre Point Suk 10. Any other last comments?

Is that Sukhumvit 12 Suites?

Good one. I remember the Icon asked me when the other guest will arrive too. I didn't know what to say and so I just didn't say anything. They never followed up on that question.
