Try the "Sea of Love" on the MRT line. About three stops from Asok. Good furnished rooms about 550 B a night. The road from the MRT to hotel is about a 5-10 min walk and not much for sidewalks.

It is above a Japanese restaurant. In fact, the 2/f to 4/f are Japanese karaoke and club, so i think the main users are japanese.
 
Checkin lobby is on 5/f, and above 5/f you will need a card key to access the floors via the elevator. You don't need to pass through the reception lobby to your room via the elevator, and therefore no joiner fee.
 
The room is spacious, cable tv with sufficient channels, bathroom is big, despite of no tub it fits with a good shower with strong hot water.
 
Highly recommended if you are thinking of visiting patpong silom nightlife.

However, the bed is comfortable and the fabric is of good quality, the water is hot and pressure is fine. The rooms decor is classy and funny, so my guests easily went into mood for the fun.
 
It is a lb friendly hotel modified from a small building. The staff is helpful. Rate is closed to 2k per night. It is just close to thonglor and therefore easy for good restaurants, bars and clubs.
