I have stayed several times in the GP over the years and I always had good experiences. The hotel is LB friendly and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. But in March last year I booked a deluxe suite which was very disappointing. It was located in tower 2. This non smoking room was dark and smelly (smokers) and the furniture was out dated. They really need to refurbish this room. I decided not to stay here, although I paid in advance. I have asked for another room, but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked and no other room was available. I took my loss and left the hotel for a stay in the Landmark, which is always excellent.

Siam Man, I have never had any problems with taking my guests to the club floor and they were free to use all available foods and drinks.

I was there once with a GG and twice with a LB friend. They all loooooved the place, the quiet atmosphere and the excellent food. Of course they all know most of the dishes that are served here, but they recognise that these dishes are prepared and served by staff that enjoys to deliver that something extra. My guests felt treated like a princess I feel you should only go there if you want to let them experience something out of the ordinary and if you want to create a great (romantic?) atmosphere. Not a place to just have a quick meal in a rush. Success guaranteed!

Hi Guys, One of the nicest places in the vibrant Sukhumvit area is in my view Restaurant Kinnaree, 43 Sukhumvit Rd, Soi 8. (www.kinnareegourmet.com). It is located almost at the end of the Soi on your left hand and its a bit off the street in a beautiful, very quiet and green atmosphere. They serve traditional Thai dishes of a very high quality, for reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and they all speak English quite well. On a few occasions we were treated on some traditional Thai dance with live music. I highly recommend it if you want to have an easy dinner in a relaxed and even romantic atmosphere. And of course: LB friendly :-)

Hi guys, I recently stayed at the Landmark hotel in Bangkok. It's my favourite place to stay: close to all the places where I like to go (Nana, CIB, Darkside) and very comfortable, clean and excellent service by the always friendly staff that speak English very well. But I have to admit that the rooms are not very cheap. In general I visit Bangkok 2 or 3 times per year and then I stay at a room at the club floor. You pay a bit more (last time around EUR 180 p/night), but in return you will have breakfast included, and have access to the club lounge on the top floor with all day free drinks and in the late afternoon also free food. (some snacks, sandwiches, sushi, noodles with chicken or pork, lovely deserts etc..). The view over the city from the club lounge is breath taking. The club floors are located on the highest floors (23 - 30) and they all give you a great view over Bangkok. My preference is the corner room, which gives you windows and views from 2 sides. It is a room with a lot of day light, with centrally controlled lights (can be dimmed) and curtains that open and close electronically. The last time I was there, I was upgraded to a Club Suite. But I didn't like that so much, because you have a separate living room and a bed room, which in my view is not so nice if you are traveling alone. After staying one night in the Club Suite, I asked for a downgrade to the usual corner room. The hotel is LB friendly. On several nights I took LB's with me to the room and I did not get any comments/questions from the staff. They even did not have to show their ID! I can highly recommend this place.
