ok thanks for the ideas. I use a VPN now, but sometimes the connection is so damn slow i clean my cookies, cache and history prior to and following each dodgy site i visit, so tend not to worry too much about the specific browser i use Will look into a virtual machine, if for no other reason than to learn more Had an unpleasant suprise when i went to use Chrome once. I have my main browser set up to block ads, etc, and so sometimes I can't access a site's full content without tweaking, so will use Chrome. So, at work one day, after struggling with a work-friendly site, I clicked on Chrome without realising that I had left it open from the previous night (hidden behind other windows) and up pops a ladyboy on thaifriendly. don't think anybody caught it Only so much these security measures can protect you (well, me), if you're that silly :unsure:

I'm not a techie at all, but would it be at all possible to get a https connection to this site? I'm pretty paranoid about such things. In general, I try to keep a very low profile, so this would simply ease my mind that extra bit.

Only for foreigners! absolutely ridiculous (but hardly surprising)
