    Centre Point Sukhumvit soi 10

No problem. It is possible that one of the condos along soi 12 has a cut through to soi 10 from a rear entrance or vice versa but there is nothing obvious. Ask the owner where the cut through is he is talking about and I can go back another day and take a look.

So I walked down there and the bad news is there is no access to soi 10 or Benjakitti Park from Soi 12. You have to go to Soi 10. I also asked 2 condo security guards, 2 street vendors and the lady with shop right at the far end of soi 12 (You can just see it in the last picture). All said no shortcut have to go around.

I will walk down there over the next couple of days and let you know.

    THAILAND PASS

I think you mean entry permit which is a Visa exemption, not a Visa on Arrival. Many countries (64 I believe) do not need an actual visa to enter Thailand.

Privelege Entry Visa (5 year multiple entry)

This thread is about Thai Elite Visa so we should try and share accurate information about it. Anyway I checked and you correct VAT is excluded on the 20 year ultimate privilege visa. I assume incorrectly it was excluded since it is excluded from the 5 year easy access visa which is the one I have. VAT is 7% though and not 10%

Where do you get 10% VAT from? Firstly Thailand has a VAT of 7% and secondly it is included in the price so not an added extra.

What compulsory fees? If you are referring to the 20K per year then your original quote included that as extras, so I was doing the same just stating that your 100k number was a little off.

It is actually more like $90K AUD but it is for 20 years so 4 times as long a Elite Easy Access.

You have read wrong mate. There are many other benefits but whether or not they are useful depends on the individual and their circumstances. If you looking at the cost alone then sure it is expensive but it comes with the convenience of no border runs for at least 5 years if you don’t want to leave. If you do want to leave you can leave and come back anytime as it is multi entry. Can legally open bank account, get post paid accounts on your mobile and internet etc rather than prepaid. Assistance with Thai drivers license. Free limo to and from airport. They do your 90 day reporting for you. Large discounts at major stores and duty free which is good for big purchases. This is not an exhaustive list.

That is just for one person. There are some family options available though where children I believe are cheaper.

Got mine this February just gone. It works out to about 8333 a month or around 273 a day. Sure it is a large up front payment but the convenience more than makes up for it. One minor blessing of the Covid 19 situation is that we all got 6 month extensions for free which is worth 50K THB.
