Air Travel during the New Normal

I saw this today concerning Covid testing at Vienna's airport for arriving passengers. It will cost 190 Euros (US $200 or so), results will be available in 3 hours and if you test negative you can avoid a 14 day quarantine in Austria. You can also present a cert from your prior point of departure if it's no older than 4 days. I am guessing something like this will be the standard for immigration at BKK and other airports around the world. I hope so, because I know nobody wants to do a 14 day quarantine on arrival. Sounds great, too bad it will cost $$$. The Wuhan virus is a gift that keeps on taking, taking, taking. https://www.viennaairport.com/pcrtest

I would get sicker witnessing that than I would by contracting Covid.

    BTS Skytrain Bangkok

What's equally as amusing is that they still enforce/follow the social distancing for seating- so you can't sit next to each other but standing in crammed as shown is fine. Unfortunately I can't see a feasible solution to this during peak time- there'd be lines onto the street if they enforced passenger limits and they barely have enough trains running as it is so they won't be increasing the number of services. Thankfully the number of (detected) cases has been single digits/zero for the past 1-2 weeks, and with wearing a mask necessary to ride the BTS/MRT and well over 90% of people wearing masks everywhere else, I would say it's not as big a concern compared to other countries with similar crowding issues.

    BTS Skytrain Bangkok

There are plenty of areas of Bangkok that are dead to me if there’s no MRT/BTS link but the map has really grown in the last 18 months. The MRT Blue line is now a full loop, a la the London Circle Line and since they pushed the BTS Green line on past Mo Chit, they've been opening stations every few months. The last stop, Ku Khot, is right near Don Muang....but behind it. I’m sure enterprising taxi drivers and Songtaews will hang out there once it’s open. I don’t think there will be any kind of direct rail from DM to Swampy until the Chinese bullet train from Laos to Pattaya is running...one of those I’ll believe it when I see it projects. I think the ARL to Don Muang is due next year but it well terminate from the new all singing and dancing Rail hub at Bang Sue. Although most of the line and stations look ready, the big hub at Bang Due still looks some way off and CV19 probably hasn’t exactly sped up construction.

    BTS Skytrain Bangkok

What's the point in social distancing on the platform while queueing, but once inside the train you're sardined with 200 other people...

Air Travel during the New Normal

I came across this today in Bangkok Post. I know there has been concern about travel insurance perhaps refusing to cover health care costs associated to Covid, but it looks like LOS will pick up the tab in exchange for a 200 or 300 baht ticket tax fee. Things are slowly gearing up for a return of international travel. Now they need to focus on test-based alternatives to a 14 day quarantine on arrival... https://www.bangkokpost.com/business/1916332/tourism-levy-mulled

I am just trying to keep threads lively and interesting around here. What's wrong with it? Your PC can't load it? You dislike the Gif videos? People often click like on my post so I thought people were enjoying it.

    Pulse Clinic - ASOK!

Tafero-EM is Generic Descovy, which is approved for PrEP. Ask them for Teno-EM. That is the locality made generic form of Truvada. It should be half the price. As a general rule of thumb even in Thailand anti-retroviral medication is controlled and not readily available at many outlets. There will probably be some out there though.

  11. We all share a common number one reason for going to Thailand, but the delectable LB delicacies aside, I find Thai to be among the most delicious cuisine in the world. It is up there among my strongest excuses for going to Thailand and remaining in Bangkok. However, it is a legitimate reason, and I am wondering what the favorite Thai dishes are of the BMs, and where they like to eat, particularly around Sukhumvit and Nana. Daytime? Late night? Street food is often the cheapest and the the best. In my time around Sukhumvit, I have found the food arcade that sets up around Soi 1 offers a variety of decent food at good prices. I am sure there are better spots, let's hear about them! Not sure what these raamen-like soups were, but they were awesome. My favorite Thai dishes: 1. Pad See-Ew (phat si io) 2. Khao Pad Goong... or any Khao Pad 3. Curries 4. Tom Yum 5. Lad na 6. Who doesn't enjoy a good Pad Thai? 7. Should I try papaya salad? The nice thing about meeting gurls is that they are hungry esp after boom boom! and they usually know good places to go to replenish their energy! On my last trip, I hooked up with a LB from Isaan and we went to eat at a place she liked, with good Isaan food. Does anyone remember Ploy from the old GB? Aside from eating each other's goodies, we ate out a couple times at a spot she liked off the beaten path... I want to say it was up around the soi 20's or 30's but a ways off of Sukhumvit definitely on the even number side... Don't remember what the food was she liked, but it was spicy!
  12. How is Tee in the sack? She has a lot of ads in craigslist and she does look quite hot. Apparently, she can give a decent massage too. I might give her a try in my next visit soon.

    STD Screening

Thanks to bkkladyboy for the info & pdf. Does anyone know what time the STi Clinic closes please - I caught gonorrhea from a blowjob, so it really does happen!

    STD Screening

I went to BNH Hospital at Silom for STD testing this morning, the doctor (a really nice old fellow) examined me and suggested that I should take a good flush of Antibiotics instead and gave me a bottle of Azithromycin based antibiotics to kill possible gonorrhea and chlamydia infections. (He said exactly what you guys are saying here, oral is relatively safe.) BNH service was way above excellent, they were fast, really polite with an OK level of english. All together I paid 1825 baht for the examination, nurse and medication and it took about a bit more than an hour. I would honestly recommend their service, it was very efficient, clean and professional! db

    Medical Tourism

I have been using the Soi 49 (Suk) since '02. Check-ups, fillings, crowns etc. In '04 they replaced two gold crowns put in in 1972. They gave me they old ones. Stolen from my checked luggage during a Chicago TSA inspection (BKK>MIA). Cosmetic eye surgery in '03 at Yanhee. My wife had a full facial there in '07. Excellent recommendation from us. But, I suspect from Miami, Costa Rica would have been even cheaper. I would have had my '05 radical prostatectomy in BKK (probably at BNH, where all my lab work is done) had not the frequency of prostate cancer and operations been so low in SE Asia. I opted for experience and had it done by a Miami urologist who was working on his 1400th or so. Ugly nurses, uncaring attitude, and both longs clogged with pulmonary embolisms. The crash cart and a strong heart from bicycling saved me, but BNH would have been the wiser choice! Perhaps even would have saved me from radiation in '07.

    Silicone injections

I actually like a big ass, although not humongous.. Still I would never recommend anyone to do it as it sounds riskier than breast implants.. As I understand it the doctor injects the stuff into the fat tissue, which sounds pretty irreversible. An lb friend of mine who did it ended up with great results (envied by all lbs we met), but she experienced a lot of stiffness and some pain, and asked me several times to massage her... And who knows what it will feel/look like in 15-20 years. But there seems to be a prevailing attitude among a lot of lbs that their life will somehow end when they hit their early 30s... I'm not sure if getting middle-aged is a part of their woman fantasy self-image at all, which is a bit sad.

    Silicone injections

An old regular had some injections since I last saw her. I could tell the difference straight away. Before she had a tight little ass, which I loved to smack when fucked her from behind. Now her ass is to tender to give her those love pops. She also had injection in the face. Before with little to no make up After injection with make up You be the judge.

Tranny arrested in U.S. for botched butt implants

I'm more stumped as to why anyone in their right mind would want a BIGGER ass than they already have? I just don't get it. I was talking to a friend recently, I'm thinking it's black culture celebrating their fat asses? Anyone understand this from a sociological perspective?

    Silicone injections

+1 from me I counldn't agree more. I love small tight asses on girls one of the reasons I love asian girls. They would also love to change their beautiful brown skin to lily white if they could thinking this is what we like. If I liked big asses huge tits and white skin I would stay at home no reason to travel overseas and spend money when I could find it here. I do not think from all the posts I see on this sort of topic that the girls will ever figure out that everything they want to change is exactly what we love about them. P.S. Thanks to whoever finally fixed my time clock effort that was screwing things up on some of the posts I feel safe posting again I will be in BKK on the 30th of April to find a small brown tight assed beauty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

    Spectacles

Just a silly question, 'cuz I've got bad eyes (watching to much porn on my laptop I guess) I wear a pair of glasses. spectacles are pretty expensive in Belgium, so, does anyone know what a pair of glasses costs in LOS and how long it takes to make 'em? Thanks
  21. If you want a great Thai meal, just ask your LB to take you to her favorite place. 2 of my LB friends from Cascade took me for a late dinner after work, it was a street vendor /restaurant on Suk opposite Guess2, excellent meals & so cheap too!
