But I will add here for others the ST hotels I have used: Happy Inn 1 next to second 7Eleven Soi 4 DI Place in alley beside first 7eleven Soi 4 Atlas Hotel inside on left of Soi 7/1 Ruamchitt Plaza Hotel above Thermae bar near Soi 15 W21 hotel on Asok Montri left side of entrance to Soi Cowboy PB Hotel on the road connecting Soi 3 and Soi 11, the rooms are like a porn stage set. Other times the freelancers took me back to their own rooms, so there is always an answer to the room question.

there is a handful of cheap short time hotels down a side soi off soi 4 on the left as you are heading towards soi 6 from nana plaza ,,the entrance to the side soi is across from hilarys,..ive stayed in these places before, not as a short time but for one or two nights to be in the sin triangle of cib why not and cindys..normally around 800 baht a night,, they are basic and clean but not somewhere u would take a girl if u trying to impress her,

Like Nick said, any LB or GG you pick up from the street or out of a bar will know where the nearest short time hotel is. Follow her lead. There is no shortage of cheap hotels in the area, and there won't be any difference among $20 - $30 USD hotel rooms.
