Don Muang airport to nana

Recommended Posts

what is the age for 'elderly' in Thailand?

When you can't get it up anymore?

I remember the specter of octogenarians clattering down the streets of Florida suburbs on their "walkers", with boners projecting through their hospital robes, terrorizing the local women, thanks to Viagra and testosterone shots. A bit like a zombie flick.

hmm, I'm afraid I'm going to have to wait... 30yr will probably not get me qualified as an elderly for the fast track ;)

Just come in on crutches. I'm serious. I don't need them but I always carry a collapsible set for easy access :) (just joking, I'm still a backpacker at 70 and my light pack is just filled with condoms anyway).

Immigration queues at DM made the news

People having to wait 4 hours!

Is express immigration available at DM as it is at Swampy? I'll be flying in and out of DM in September and will happily pay for the express service to avoid a 4-hour wait.

Way overpriced. See my link a few posts back. About TB1200. I have used the same service at BKK twice and it is totally worth it. Much easier than crutches!!

I have used these guys at BKK airport before. I also always use them for trips back and forth between Bangkok - Pattaya and Bangkok - Hua Hin. The cars are spotless and the drivers are sane, sober and punctual. Overall, they are pretty good. Just be sure and specify a Camry when you book, otherwise they will get cute and try to default you into a pricier BMW or Mercedes ride.

Thanks for the info. Guess I should have read the whole thread before asking.

I specified a Camry and payd up front, so no hassle at the airport :)

I arrived at Dong Mueng yesterday afternoon. My plane landed at 15:25. When we arrived at the the terminal, a guy from the FastTrack immigration service was waiting for me holding a sign with my name. I followed him through the airport to the priority immigration. I got a good look at the regular que for immigration and the entire hall was full...

Using the FastTrack, I was outside the airport in under 30min, so I'd say money well spent :)

Next, my contact showed me to my car and off to the hotel we went. The drive was also nice and relaxing and I was at my hotel at around 16:35.

All in all, a very pleasant experience!

Are there moto taxis at DMK?

Do you mean tuk tuk or motorbike taxis? Anyway, no to both. You can take a tuk tuk to the airport but it's pretty fucken dangerous. While Motorcycle taxis have to operate within a specific area they are licensed for.

Thanks! Will get there Monday afternoon and didn't want to spend precious hours in traffic on the way to Nana.
