Is There a Way to Block an Avatar?

Pikogpatter's avatar is driving me nuts - I haven't read a single post he has made because of the distraction. The only way I can get rid of it in threads (to my knowledge) is to block him, which would be a shame if he has something to contribute. Any ideas?

No option but to block piko but then you still see the dreaded epileptic inducing butterfly in the forum spy

Yes i also find the flicking butterfly a tad distracting ... ( by the way , a bighairy hughjass is not a pretty thought either 5555 )

Kendo may know of a setting that does this. I'm not a fan of anything moving on avatars and signatures and find them distracting from the post. Always gives me the push to skim the content instead of fully reading it.

Sorry guys - wasnt aware that it was so annoying. Will change my avatar in a few min.

 

Want all to have a fun time here and not get distracted by a simple avatar.

As it seems to annoy a lot of BMs when other BMs have moving avatars i would suggest that GIF-files are not allowed as avatars (mean they cannot be uploaded), That should solve the problem once and for all.

There's probably a way by writing a Greasemonkey script, but it would probably be a bit too much work for most people.

I made my avatar from a video of one of the first ladyboys to catch my eye. Her name is few.

The action in my signature is just a GIF I found a couple of years ago. I thought it was pretty cool, so I stole it for my signature.
