Thailand Countrywide Travel & Entertainment Brochures & Biz Cards

Thai Brochure & Biz Cards Scans & Related Discussions

possibly someone could benefit from this, a place to post scans of brochures & biz cards that members collect on their travels through Thailand. maps would be cool, too.

please, if you can, also post:

  • what was the date when you picked-up the brochure?
  • did you actually go to the place in the brochure?
  • is the information accurate in the brochure?
  • would you recommend the place?
  • any other comments?

Phuket Fantasy ~ Kamala Beach, Kathu, Phuket

the website is totally cool and interactive.

i've been there several times over the years, usually when i am in HKT working, the last time was about 2 years ago.

the brochure is 2 years old, too, so the contact info may have changed, check the website if need be.

pictures are surely accurate.

i highly recommend it.

i have been and gone to the buffet and i have gone and not paid for the buffet. either way its a deal.

the buffet when i was there was extensive and had several cuisines represented including Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, European and other farang foods.

make sure your transport gets you there in time to eat. depending on how many shows there are you may have a choice of eating before or after the show. ask the tour people what the current status is.

the show is always an eye opener. well staged, great costumes and its like a cross between traditional TH entertainments, Cirque du Soleil and and a traditional circus.

the acrobatics and elephant stuff is over the top.

look around when buying tickets, everyone has them and prices do vary from my recollection. a lot of the tariff is dependent on where else on the island you are in relation to the venue. the further from Kathu you are the more it may cost. the show itself should always be the same price. ask for a breakdown of the charges if you need to know how much you are paying just for the ride there. if you opt for a pick-up service you can avoid the hassles and headaches from the tuk-tuk driver mafia and there insane, usury, fixed-price rates and intimidation.

great way to kill the first part of an evening and get a bit if TH culture, before going out mongering, or bring the GFE LB LT from last night with you.

WARNING: there is shopping there so be prepared to possibly buy souvenirs for the GFE LB LT.

IMHO, this place is better than soi bangla for entertainment and dollar value.

coming in two weeks so might be able to contribute some things then. I think this is a good idea since I have seen a few threads where people are asking what to do besides girls while in LOS.

bkkladyboy, in the spirit of this thread I am posting a link to a wonderful video of Bangkok. Hope you don't mind. The site it comes from is excellent and you and others who so wish will find some remarkable films of/from Bangkok, Thailand and the planet.
