the only problem I have is the size of the rooms. But it is a great hotel and good location. Nana nearby (you can see it from some rooms) and temporary bar outside late at night with many LBs popping over (freelancers and Nana girls looking for a final customer)

I've stayed here on my last few trips and it suits me fine. Complimentary water, free wifi and the free breakfast just add to the deal. Yes, the studio room is small but it's certainly enough for my needs.

Have stayed there too many times.

Have had 5 or more lbs back to my room and never been charged extra.

There is an interesting room - i think end room 7 th floor deluxe room with extra large spa bath there.

Should be able to fit yourself in with numerous lbs.

Staff are great.

Stayed there. But bad wifi connection ... Never used the spa bath though. Cannot bring me to use a hotel bath anywhere. A shower any day

Anyone have any idea if the TVs in the Majestic have USB ports? I have a few good flicks I want to bring with me when I fly in this Friday. Will be switching over to the Kingston Suites the next day so any info there would be appreciated.

Cheers... RW

Next to Nana Plaza across from check inn mobile bar and lb friendly. They also do a decent red wine at a reasonable price.

I have never stayed there but know many who have and they seem to enjoy the place. For location it right in the thick of it all

I just booked 3 nights for 137.02 USD with taxes included. :Eating: Breakfast x2 included so I will have to make a point to get up to try it at least once.

Felt a bit nostalgic as I've read so many trip reports where mongers used this hotel. Located right across from Check In might prove convenient too. :fuck2:

I'll make sure to report back and add some :Camera: to this thread.

I also replaced the video the OP posted that was no longer available with one of swaninsongkran's video slideshows.

Here is another video of one of the rooms. Does look a bit small.

I'll have to have them empty my mini-bar to avoid any late temptations from me or a (ahem) guest.

Nothing but good to say about this place, great location and friendly staff. Cant beat the price really.

Two thumbs up from me.

How is the free breakkie Milhouse?

The rooms seem a bit small side but I plan on being in bed most of the time I'm in the room. I have the superior double King size whatever that means.

I hope to get a ladyboy in that spa tub for a :Camera: or two.

I would say brekkie is pretty decent for a toss in. Eggs how you want them, bacon, beans, toast, coffee or tea. No buffet which I like!

My record is three ladys and me in the shower at one time, its about a meter square in the standardroom.

Only bad thing I have to say is the crapper, kinda close to the bath base so you need to kinda shit on an angle.

Front desk staff and door men are super nice.

As promised I would report back about my stay. I want to thank all the BM's who posted info on this before as it helped me make an informed decision on my stay.

The location is great for where I wanted to go each night. I managed to take advantage of the free brekkie 2 out of 3 nights only because I stayed up all night at Check In Bar that's located just across Sukhumvit. They offered 4 choices if memory serves me. Because I checked in originally with a ladyboy I had passes for two, You might want to request this at check in if you plan on taking your guest to brekkie. One of the choices is a Thai soup that they often have in the morning (sorry forget name) My gurl said it was good.

I found the room to a great value for money. My laptop even fit in the safe. The only issue I had was with security which I reported on in this thread. http://www.bangkokla...__fromsearch__1

i don't want to get into that issue here, but my point is we really don't know how much a hotel will protect us until we are tested. They definitely handled security differently than other places I've stayed. When guests left un-escorted they never called up to me to see if everything is alright, whereas other places like Heaven@4 did this before giving back the guests ID.

Spacious entrance with lots of closet space and large safe. (model not included)

Sliding shudder doors instead of drapes. This helped make the room darker for day sleeping after an all night session. The windows are tinted as well which cut down on light through any cracks. You could see out onto Sukhumvit during the day, but with the tint you couldn't see much except for lights at night.

The bed was comfortable and big enough for three.

Had a desk and chair but certainly not the "comfy chair"

Sorry it appears that I don't have any shots of the toilet/shower. Nothing special really, had bum hose, maybe a bit small as pointed out in previous posts.

Always had access to extra towels as cleaning cart was parked outside the door.

2 free bottles of water a day. Mini bar which I didn't use nor did I have them empty the contents. Check in was easy but since I was there before 100 I had to wait 20 minutes. I checked in with one ladyboy and then snuck the other in kind of. They took her ID. The one I checked in with they photo copied her ID. I don't think it would have mattered.

I can recommend the Majestic Suites, but just be aware that security although they have a guard, not just desk person will make you responsible for anything. I'm wondering if Majestic Grande is worth the extra money. I assume they are the same hotel group?

The Majestic Grande is excellent. Decent breakfast, the gym's ok.Security take id's and call when she leaves (at night). The pool is a waste of time. Location -perfect spot for us :) . The only awkward moments were being stuck in a lift with the same Arab family twice but with a different lb.

Awkward? That's a badge of honor for me. :D

That's what they get for bringing their unruly kids to Nana hotel :Bonkers:

I stayed again at the Majestic Suites and checked in with a ladyboy who actually had the same last name as the desk GG who I remembered from last time. A small difference with my room this time as it was just a Queen bed instead of the King I had last time and they had me down for one guest which was odd as I booked through Agoda. It wasn't a big deal and they didn't charge for additional person. the Queen bed just meant more room around the bed which made the room look bigger and slept closer with my honey. I also only was entitled to one breakfast instead of two like last time. Didn't factor in because we slept in each morning anyway.

The bathrooms are rather small as you can see. The location was again the biggest plus as it was in between Nana and CIB, Soi 5, Soi and 7. Also easier to get taxi's as you can line up which direction you are going as its so close to the intersection.

Another thing I like about MS is they leave the linen cart with supplies in the hallway so if you need more of anything its there for you. At least on my floor anyway.

I had a later flight and wanted to get a late check out, but it was not possible this time because a group was coming in on that day. You can get a 6 P.M. check out for an extra 600 baht usually. they did give me to 1 P.M. for free which gave me and extra hour which was needed after a long night. :D
